Key People Moves
Alvarez and Marsal have added Floris Hovingh and Atif Malik to their London office. Floris will be a member of their European Debt Advisory team and is joining from Deloitte, whilst Atif is joining after being self-employed (previously at Barclays).
Axel Rink has also joined Alvarez and Marsal’s Debt Advisory team as a Senior Director in their Frankfurt office. Prior to joining A&M, Axel worked at Deloitte for over ten years and was co-head of their Financial Advisory practice.
Bain are continuing to expand their Healthcare & Life Sciences capabilities in London, Paris and Rome, through hiring 3 new Partner hires. Sarwar Islam (London), Patrick Biecheler (Paris), and Giorgio Ortolani (Rome) all bring experience in working in the Biopharmaceutical, MedTech and Private Equity sectors.
Dominique Trancart has joined Arthur D. Little as a Partner and will be the latest senior member to join their Industrial Goods practice. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey, focusing on Value Creation and Performance Improvement projects.
Kearney in France have made three additions to their Retail and Consumer Goods team, all coming from PwC’s Strategy&. Vincent Barbat and Marc Helfgott will join as Partners, while Filip Bourée will join as a Principal.
Additionally, Kearney in France have also hired Cyrille Bender within its Private Equity and Restructuring practice. Prior to joining Kearney, Cyrille worked for Bain & Co, Fraikin and, most recently, Cairn Partners.
Phil Popham has joined Interpath Advisory after being Lotus’ CEO for two years and a half. He will be providing support to businesses entering stages of growth and transformation.
Duff & Phelps (Kroll), have hired Andy Marsden, who will lead their Business Modelling and Analytics practice, based in London. Andy joins after spending 20 years at EY and brings a wealth of experience working with clients across EMEA.
Wayne Brown has joined Alvarez & Marsal’s London office, where he will be leading digital and transformation advisory programmes for EMEA financial services clients. Prior to joining the firm, Wayne worked for Stray & Co, Kearney, and EY.
Altman Solon, the TMT-focused strategy firm, has hired Felix Lepetit from Deloitte in London, where he will focus on transformation, strategy, performance improvement and M&A projects.
Suren Thadani has joined the newly formed advisory firm, Interpath, as a Managing Director. Suren joins after spending a year and a half at Oliver Wyman. He will be leading their value creation and transformation initiatives across multiple sectors.
Jens Nackmayr joins Accenture as a Managing Director, focused on Supply Chain & Operations. Prior to joining Accenture in London, Jens has previously worked for Strategy& and, more recently, Roland Berger.
Paul Berkovi has joined Alvarez & Marsal’s London office and will be a Managing Director in their Restructuring practice. He has experience working in multiple sectors including Energy, Real Estate and Life Sciences, and joins after being at KPMG for 14 years.
Ageas, the Insurance group, has hired Hugo Pires at their Head of Digital Transformation, based in Brussels. Hugo joined after spending six years at AXA, then four years at PwC, where he was a Senior Manager.
Olle Lundqvist joins Alvarez & Marsal in Hamburg as Managing Director and Head of Private Equity Performance Improvement in the Nordics. Prior to joining, Olle was Director at the Private Equity fund Platinum Equity.
